Business. Pundits, experts, our peers and even our bosses all tell us that we need to be “more strategic” and that “HR needs to drive more value”, but on very few occasions we get the details. This session will discuss the realities HR is living and how we can mitigate them in everyday functions. Most importantly, the session will go through examples from TWO real companies: one that built a real life HR dashboard and another that built a holistic scorecard to align HR efforts to the goals of the organization.
A thought leader on performance, development, and talent strategies, Chris Mullen is director of strategic advisory at Kronos, a global leader in workforce cloud solutions. With 15 years of experience as an HR practitioner focused on maximizing engagement, Mullen helps organizations inspire their own workforces by optimizing technology and refreshing outdated processes with people-centric solutions to enhance the employee experience and drive better business outcomes. Mullen holds a Ph.D. from the University of Northern Colorado, where he focused on the impact of mobile technology on work-life balance, as well as a master’s degree from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
