As a coach, you will challenge your employee. You will clarify what your employee wants and take the time to find out what success in life means to them. You assist your employee in clarifying their vision and the steps to get there, and helping them to discover a life of development and accomplishment, both personally and professionally.
As a coach you encourage your employee towards the ownership of that plan and encourage and support him or her to increase productivity and effectiveness.
Partnering with employees in a thought-provoking process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential, which is particularly important in today’s uncertain and complex environment. The coach’s responsibility is to:
•Discover, clarify, and align with what the leader and employee want to achieve.
•Encourage employee self-discovery.
•Elicit employee-generated solutions and strategies
•Hold the employee responsible and accountable.

Starting my career in Training and Development, I learned quickly why it is so important to focus on people – an engaged, invested, and high contributing employee will enable a company to achieve almost anything. For the past several years, I have lead people in Human Resources, Employee Relations, and Benefits and Compensation. My specialty is being able to help grow an organization while retaining talent through a focus on employee experience. My experience is rooted in human capital management. I have an innate passion for pushing myself to learn more every day.
